Jeff, it plays for me but depending on your connection it may take a few minutes. Download link also works for me but I do suggest you use right click and Save As so it doesn't launch in Media player. Occasionally we do run into bandwidth contraints and after paying bandwidth overages for months I decided to no longer allow overages to happen. So if you can't view of download after waiting a few minutes if you aren't on a really fast connection then check back another time. Or I'll be happy to burn a cd and send it to you for the same price that Total Training would charge.

Hi Cheryl, thank you for creating this tutorial. I really appreciate it. I am new to Expression Web and I just started using it today (I read up on css first). I finished part 1, but I noticed that I have a "white band" at the top of my page. I thought perhaps I made a mistake, but I loaded the index.html file from your zip folder and your version also gives me a "white band." It's about as tall as one line on a sheet of wide-rule paper. Anyhow, I tried the page in Firefox and IE and I got the same results. I guess it's not that big of a deal, but I want to figure out how to get rid of the white space.

You will have empty space - probably what you are calling the white band, until later in the project when you have completed the body style definition. That is the default margin (or in the case of Opera padding) that is on the body element. You remove it by using margin: 0; padding: 0; in the body element. Depending on what is done with the heading in the masthead that too can cause empty space above the masthead however, that should also be addressed as you work through the remaining 3 parts of the tutorial. Remember this is only part 1 and there are three more parts to go before your page will be complete and all elements in their proper position.

Right click on the download link and select "save target as" using IE and it should download.

I tried to download, but to no avail. When I right-click on download, my only option to save is "save link as" which downloads an ASP.NET server page--not the video. (Trying to open the page leads to a message saying "error reading file." ) Any advice?

Are you using Internet Explorer? If so, you should have the option to "save target as". If you are using Firefox, there is an extension available on the Firefox exchange that will add that option to the right click menu.or you can use Alt + Enter for save link target as:

FYI, to add to the above...I realized I was in Firefox and so tried download in IE, again no luck with several tries. Download seems to freeze up partway through. I'll try watching on-line.
