Hi,

Been a FP users for years, and I'm now working with expressions and I had some questions, (hope this is the correct forum)

1) Expression is added some strange symbols to my code like this:

What's causing this and more importantly how do I get it to stop. 

2) Expression is really slow when I try loading a page for editing, and it's slow if I try to do anything via ftp. My host doesn't yet support the new extensions so I'm using ftp. Is there a setting that I can try to speed this up?
